In this one hour PDH (Professional Development Hour) you will be exposed to several examples to illustrate conflicts of interest in the field of engineering. These examples include when and how to disclose a conflict of interest to protect your reputation and your license. You will learn how to ethically do business with a government agency and what to expect if you run for a political office. Other examples include preparing pro-bono work, the use of the PE/PS designation after retirement, the significance of preparing a credible resume, and the importance of effectively honoring contracts.
